I just found out my cousin is being sent to Iraq.

When he goes his wife is going to move into my Uncle's house with them. No one knows when he will go. Everyone in my family is very worried. As soon as my brother told me my heart dropped to my stomach. He has avoided this war for so long, he even got married in a beautiful wedding and was just starting his new life with his lovely wife...and now this. No one can say a word to my grandma about this. He was her first grandchild and she has been very sick lately so if she were to find out about this she would most definitely take this the hardest. My cousin is very smart and very strong and I have complete faith in him, I just pray that he is safe and doesn't have to stay for too long.

Is it just me or did Christmas just sneak up out of nowhere this year? Here it is Christmas Eve and it doesn't even feel like it. This has been a pretty weird break for me. I've lost my room to my father and I am now sharing my brother's room with him. I haven't shared a room with him since we were babies. I never realized just how important it is to have a space of your own, there have been a few times so far where I just wanted to escape but I had nowhere to go. No matter how nice I try to be to my father nothing changes between us. He doesn;t respect me, he steals my things for months on end, he acts like a selfish 5 year old. I've been trying to be patient with him, but its so hard. It has gotten to the point where I can't stand to be around him and that saddens me. Actually it doesn't sadden me i'm starting to become numb, which is even worse. I feel so ugly around him, emotionally and physically. Merry Christmas to us....

Yesterday was wonderful. I got to get away, be with my friends and just act stupid, I loved it. I felt like this weight had been lifted off of my shoulders for a few hours. I've just been feeling so lonely this Christmas.
Everyone needs to see the Epcot fireworks show if you haven't already. It's simply spectacular. The company was really nice too.. :)I love you Lorelai!!!!!!!! I think last night was the first time I actually really enjoyed waiting for a bus.

The end of my first week...

Well I'm sitting now in the library at FSU and it has been a very long morning thus far. Lauren, Lisette and I had to get up early in order to be at the Ford dealership in time to get Lauren's car. They told her it would be ready by 7:30am. Well 7:30am had come and gone and they hadn't even printed the freaking paperwork yet. She didn't get her car until after 8am, which was the exact time both her and my classes were starting. And to top it all off her car still sounded bad if not worse when she had first left it!
Well we get to school and i can't find my building. Thankfully I stoped this nice girl and she showed me which one it was. I go into the building and open the door to my class and there is no one there. it was around 8:20am and there was no sign of people ever being in that class. I asked some girls who were waiting out infront of the classroom if there had been a class going on there and they said there hadn't been. Normally i wouldn't be too worried but today was my first day of the recitation component (the class we take our exams in) of my statistics class and we were supposed to go to it. I really hope i don't get dropped from the course all together. Though i really shouldn't since i went to class on monday. Hopefully things will turn up as the day goes on.

So far i really love it here...

But more on that later tiem to go to class.
